the ASEAN Women's Circle is
a non-profit organization registered on the 5th day of June, 2001.
The organization's
objectives are as follows:
-
To promote mutual
understanding, cooperation, and solidarity amongst women of the
Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN)
community in Washington, DC in particular, and in the whole of the
United States of America in general.

To encourage
cultural and social exchanges between members and to disseminate
information on ideals and aims of the Association of Southeast Asian
Nations.

To encourage the
advancement of women in the ASEAN region in the fields of education,
economics, and social necessity.

To raise funds to
finance these activities whenever necessary.
